Status: Available. Apollo uses its official hosted MCP server and browser OAuth. You do not paste an Apollo API key. The connected workspace, Apollo permissions, plan, and credits define what the route can use. Explore the Apollo connector. Use this connection from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Grok Bot, Muse or another compatible AI agent. Each agent needs its own ApexGenius setup once; start with Claude, ChatGPT or Codex.

What you need

  • An active Apollo account
  • Access to the Apollo workspace and features you intend to use
  • Available Apollo credits for enrichment or other credit-consuming actions
  • Model training disabled in the AI client, as required by Apollo’s MCP terms
  • An ApexGenius account with the Apollo connection enabled

Connect Apollo

  1. In ApexGenius, open Connections.
  2. Select Apollo.
  3. Choose Connect Apollo.
  4. Review the Apollo scopes and complete OAuth.
  5. Return to ApexGenius and validate the workspace connection.
  6. Start with a catalog search or read before using a write or credit-consuming action.
Apollo permissions, plan limits, credits, and workspace access remain the effective ceiling. The current upstream catalog includes sensitive write, sending, purchasing, and tracking capabilities, so scope and tool-policy review are required before enabling broad use.

Before you start
  • An account with permission to use the Apollo resources you intend to connect.

Open Apollo in Connections

Choose Connect, or Add connection when offered. Give the connection a name if prompted. If Gateway setup pending appears, contact ApexGenius support before continuing.

Choose the account and review access

Sign in to Apollo and review the requested workspace access. Apollo uses browser authorization; no Apollo API key is pasted into ApexGenius.

Review the connected account and resources

Confirm the connected Apollo workspace. Open Tools to review its available actions. Enrichment and other paid actions use Apollo credits.

Check the connection

Use Test connection or Check again and read the reported status. Add an AI agent from the AI agents page, choose Read only for the first test, and try the question below.
