ApexGenius separates AI clients from app connections.
AI clients such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code connect to the ApexGenius MCP endpoint.
Apps such as Salesforce, n8n, Jira, Confluence, and HQ Rental connect inside the ApexGenius gateway.
Use the connector directory for current public availability. Your signed-in Connections page shows which apps are configured and available to your account.
For Salesforce, an ApexGenius project identifies one authorized Salesforce org and its metadata workspace.n8n, Confluence, and the additional providers use connections owned by the signed-in ApexGenius user. Jira is also user-owned while its user-scoped route is completed. The current Jira and Confluence operation schemas still require an ApexGenius project_id so the gateway can apply the account’s project authorization and activation checks. That gate does not turn a Jira project, Confluence space, n8n workflow, or HQ Rental tenant into an ApexGenius project.
Checking means ApexGenius is reading the live app and connection state. It does not mean the app is disconnected.
Connected means the saved sign-in is active and the gateway health check passed.
Needs help means a sign-in is saved, but it cannot be used now. Choose Reconnect when the provider needs access again. Choose Manage to review other health or provider limits.
More apps means the live check finished and no active connection was found.
Status unavailable means the live check failed. Choose Retry before you connect or change the app.
Manage is an action. It is not a health result. Read the status beside the app before you use it.
Each ApexGenius guide links to the matching vendor documentation. Vendor documentation is authoritative for provider permissions, API behavior, plan requirements, and rate limits. ApexGenius documentation is authoritative for the gateway-specific setup and current product boundary.
The social connectors use official provider APIs. Outward publishing, upload, update, and deletion tools are risk-labeled so compatible AI clients can request confirmation before sending them. Supported provider writes are recorded in the gateway write audit without storing provider credentials in the audit payload.For providers with selectable resources, the connection owner must also enable the specific Facebook Page, Instagram account, LinkedIn author, YouTube channel, or Pinterest board. A valid OAuth token does not override that resource allowlist.Media URLs supplied to write-capable providers such as X or LinkedIn are fetched through the gateway’s public-URL guard. Private IP ranges, unsafe DNS results, redirects, oversized payloads, and unexpected media types are rejected before an upload reaches the provider. YouTube is read-only and does not accept media uploads.
The connector code can be live before a third-party developer app receives every production permission. The connection screen reports missing developer-app configuration instead of presenting a false connected state.

Connection access is checked at runtime.An ApexGenius user can use an Available connector after its production developer app is configured, the provider grants the required scopes, and the connection passes verification. Planned connectors remain unavailable until their product and provider gates are complete.
Account requirements differ by provider.The connector directory is the source of truth for current availability. Available does not waive provider-specific account, OAuth, scope, plan, verification, or API requirements. Read the setup and developer-app notes before relying on a connection in production work.
